Would you like to try ABA?
Every child is endowed with limitless potential, and it is possible for them to unleash that potential. Children with autism and developmental disabilities need someone who understands them, someone who will guide them on their journey, exploring with them what will motivate them. Even big goals can be achieved by breaking them down into many small steps and practicing them daily.
Although ABA may seem esoteric, it is packed with practical know-how that can be applied to your own life, allowing you to achieve more of your life goals by increasing desired behaviors and eliminating undesired ones.
The Asia Pacific ABA Network, a general incorporated association, provides evidence-based, high-quality therapeutic education, education, support for independent living, individual programs and therapies to develop communication and social skills, as well as professional training services for those aiming for international certification in the field of ABA.
To parents of children with autism, developmental disorders, or physical or intellectual disabilities
"Parents are a child's best teachers"
Applied behavior analysis (ABA) is still a relatively unfamiliar clinical field in Japan, but research, particularly in North America, has shown that it is an effective treatment for autism and other developmental disorders, and it is covered by insurance and public funding.
ABA also provides a wealth of information and skills to parents of children with autism, developmental disorders, or physical or intellectual disabilities. Many problems can be solved through practice at home, including how to interact with your child in everyday life, how to train skills to encourage independence, and how to respond to problem behaviors.
As a parent myself, I hope to expand our community, where we can learn and support each other together.
