ABA International Acquisition Course

ABA Practice Basics Course 100+ (50 hours of basics + 100 hours of practice)

The Asia-Pacific ABA Network Sapporo Academy, a general incorporated association, offers a 12-week intensive course twice a year, in spring and autumn , in which students can obtain two ABA international qualifications in one course. If you are interested, please contact us here.


International qualifications available:
●QABA certified international qualification ABAT (ABA Technician, specializing in autism and related disorders)
BACB-certified international RBT (certified behavioral technician, no particular field restrictions. Only for those living in North America)

QABA, QASP-S, ABAT: Three levels of international qualifications from QABA

About Qualified Behavior Analyst (QBA)

Qualified Behavior Analyst. For those with a Master's degree. This credential determines whether a candidate has the knowledge, skills, and abilities of a professional competencies to provide therapeutic interventions to individuals with autism spectrum disorder and related disorders, and demonstrates full professional competency/qualification (to protect the safety and welfare of the public).

The QBA qualification course will begin in January 2022. We are currently accepting applications for the third batch in 2024. Transfer is possible.

Qualified Autism Services Practitioner–Supervisor (QASP-S)

Certified Autism Service Practitioner Supervisor: Mid-career credential. For college graduates. QASP-S certifiers understand autism as a spectrum disorder and demonstrate principles for effectively addressing autism. QASP-S can supervise licensed professionals within ABA and ASD, or under the supervision of a BCBA.

The QASP-S qualification course began in January 2022. We are currently accepting applications for the third batch in 2024. Transfer is possible.

Applied Behavior Analysis Technician (ABAT)ABA Technician

Entry-level qualification. This exam is intended for those who have completed approved coursework and completed the required 15 hours of supervised fieldwork.

QASP-S and ABAT work under the supervision of a licensed BCBA or QBA with a QBA, ABA, and ASD specialty in their practice. Please see the PowerPoint below for more details.
